Why Did I Create An "Online
Work At Home" Mom Site?

Because... no other work at home mom site I could find focused exclusively on how to make money online from home.

Because... my friends and relatives kept asking me "What exactly is it that you do?"

Because... having an online business has changed my life, and I want to share my experience with other moms choosing to work from home.

Let's get introduced. My name is Cate Brizzell. That's a picture of me in my "home office" below.

Okay, so it's really my kitchen table. Thanks to my laptop, a wireless home network and broadband internet, I've been able to earn extra money online since 2003.

I live in upstate New York with my husband and three kids--a son and two daughters, all elementary-aged (but growing fast).

Recently it seemed I was getting more and more secretive phone calls and e-mails from women desperate to become a work from home mom, asking me how they could get started with an online homebased business.

I've even had a husband or two ask me to contact their wives!

So, I decided to start a work at home mom site that would explain exactly how I earn money, what I used to get started, what I use now, and who I recommend you do business with online.

There are some terrific WAHM sites out there with tons of information, but I wanted my work at home mom site to be a bit different. Let me tell you how.

First, I'm only going to talk about income opportunities involving your computer and the internet.

There are lots of great businesses you can start at home, but the online business/home computer niche is truly unique, and terrific for moms of all ages.

An online business can offer passive income, low-cost start-up, few barriers to entry, and great flexibility.

What's so great about passive income? Simple. Passive income is money that comes in while you sleep, while you're on vacation, or while you're nursing a sick child. You aren't limited by your time, your kids, your crazy schedule, or your husband's crazy schedule.

A few of the opportunities I recommend, such as Virtual Assistant and Medical Transcription, don't offer passive income, but still provide a way to make money from home with a computer. I believe a passive income business model is best, but if you're interested in these opportunities, they can still be much less limiting than other home businesses that require you to be away from home during evenings or weekends (such as direct party plans).

Second, I will recommend sites, products, services and experts with the utmost integrity.

I'm not out to make a fast buck off moms desperate to stay home. I already earn income from other sites and products. My purpose in creating this site is simply to share the opportunity and lifestyle I currently enjoy. If I make a recommendation, you can be sure I've read, reviewed and used (or chucked) the information.

If you see an ad on my site or in my newsletter, you can be confident I've seen the material before, and consider it trustworthy. Since all things (and all people) make mistakes once in a while, if I find a product or service or site I recommended isn't all I thought it was, I'll let you know.

Third, I promise to keep this work at home mom site clean and fresh.

Neat and concise. Simple and easy. I don't know about you, but as much as those pink/blinking/coffee clatch mom sites look inviting, I don't have time to get sucked in. I can barely shower each day, much less surf and chat.

I want to give you the information you need. FAST. Without tons of distracting and blinking ads.

So, that's what I'm going to try and deliver for you. Sit back, browse around, and get excited.

The possibilities for online income are truly endless. If you can provide your talent, self-discipline and motivation, then you can build a fun, profitable online business!
